In a recent letter published by the New York Post, Trylon SMR President Lloyd Trufelman suggested that part of the infrastructure rebuilding that has been promised under President Obama should be used for building out broadband in the New York region. "Using part of these federal funds to construct high-speed fiber networks throughout the five boroughs would save energy by reducing vehicular transport to deliver more services digitally, such as online education, e-commerce and telemedicine," he stated.
